I would like to be able to peer inside of these objects using the /check mechanism (including ctrl-c, and /c <stnpc>). Consider it a quality-of-life upgrade. Would other folks be interested and if so, would it even be possible?

I would love to be able to look inside the brown caskets that drop in conquest areas. Nothing like unlocking a chest only to find a worthless item like a bone chip inside, or some rare medicine I'm already carrying.
This has been requested before, and the response was that SE didn't want to do it because there's no time pressure on the chests like there is in Abyssea. I think this is a stupid response, but that's what they said. Maybe they've mellowed out and changed their mind by now.
But there is a time pressure on chests... I've had several disappear on me because I got swarmed and didn't have enough time to open them before they vanished...
