Ideas for new Trust NPCs

Erpalacion: DRG trust. Uses Jump and High Jump, Polearm Weapon Skills and Angon. Maybe make Jumps a bit stronger or crit since he can't use Call Wyvern.
Unlocked from being Rank 10 San d'oria.


Raogrimm: WAR trust. Uses Provoke, Warrior's Charge, Berserk, Great Axe weapon skills. Maybe put him in Fighter's Lorica set since he's the original holder of Warrior AF armor.
Unlocked from beating Dynamis Lord.


Portia: DNC trust. Dual Wields daggers. Uses Steps, Haste Samba, Cure Waltz and Healing Waltz.



Rainemard: RDM NPC. Uses Composure. Casts Haste and Refresh II on self and player. Uses Enspell II and Temper on self. Auto-attacks with sword and uses sword weapon skills. Occasionally casts Dia III, Paralyze II, Gravity II on target and cures players when below 50% HP.



Raubahn: BLU trust. Uses Blue Magic, Chain Affinity and self skillchains, can Diffusion+Animating Wail. Versatile spell list(no pointless or weak spells like Wild Oats though...)

Love the ideas, I was hoping Rainemard would make it into the Alter Ego team!

I personally wouldn't mind having Kayeel-Payeel or Gariri.^^

Also I already assume General Rughadjeen is making his way soon-ish maybe? I wonder if Square Enix will consider allowing a full party of Alter Egos? Would be great having the Five Serpent Generals fighting at my side afterall! Wonder what kind of neat co-op benefits they would have too when all 5 are summoned together?! Sure hope we get some information on this.^^

I personally want to see more NPCs from the past. I would love to see most of the freelancers. Like, how about Achtelle and Bravo? That would be SO COOL. Or Auroral Alicorn, or Babban Ny Mheillea and her crew of friends? Choh Moui with Azo and Vahi would be 185% awesome. Poroggo Prince (without being able to cast death which would be overpowered I guess, lol) would also tickle my fancy.

Really though, if I could only choose one set of NPCs it would be my all time FAVOURITE Beastmaster, Rongo-Nango, and his cast of pets Jajaro, Popochu, Papako, Momowa, and Lerren. Would be awesome to be able to pick which two pets to call with him

Also I think my favourite bastokian army leader Elivira should become a trust. She is so cool with her shotgun.

One thing I’d like to point out about the Trust Initiative is that player and the NPC are supposed to have a strong connection, and due to this we do not plan on adding alter egos for characters that you haven’t actually come into contact with or characters that just exist in Vana’diel’s history.

We’ll be prioritizing the addition of alter egos that players have been involved with throughout the storylines and are nostalgic for players.

There may be a possibility that we add each of the NPCs suggested that players have come into contact with in the future, but the only one that might be difficult is Raogrimm as this may be a spoiler for the main storyline.

Oh! That's easy enough. Just force a clear for Dynamis - Xarcabard as a requirement for trading in the Cipher. Have the Trust NPC say "The process didn't work...This Cipher seems to be incomplete" or something if you try to trade it in before the requirement is met.

Ciphers with requirements could be used for other spoiler-y characters, too, later on down the line.

Yeah, a Dynamis Xarcabard clear would be a good requirement for Rao (and Cornelia maybe?)

And as a RDM I really want to see Rainemard as a Trust.
