Unlocking a Mythic detroyed by NNI

Unlocking a mythic weaponskill is based on your Runic DIsk record.
Unfortunately SE screwed it up with Neo-Nyzul Isle.
I am on floor 100 on old Nyzul but only floor 20 on new nyzul.
Therefore, I now need to do 7,040 WS to unlock the mythic ws instead of 250 as before!
This totally sucks.

Really? It interacts with Neo? That actually could work in my favour since I've cleared 100 on Neo but not on olde... I somehow doubt it though

If you have a runic key then you only need to do the minimum. Also you might want to read up a little on Nyzul Isle Uncharted, you start at the bottom every run.

I have completed 354 ws with the PUP Inferno Fists equipped for each and every ws. Since I have floor 100 complete on ONI, what would you conclude?
Sorrowful Sage reports that I have cleared Floor 100 on ONI, and Floor 20 on NNI. Yes, you start on floor 1, but it records how far you have reached.

I'm not sure how but the Wikia seems to agree with you, although the edit history is a tad questionable. What does the npc say when you trade your weapon to him?

I get the response for >50 done, >49 to go

Were all the ws's on exp granting enemies? And they can't be NM's of any sort, they do not count. Ran into that problem trying to unlock WS's in Abyssea.

The weapon skills most certainly do not talk to Neo, Morpheus, nor the Matrix itself; the quest is only affected by the regular Nyzul Isle Investigation assault mission with regular lighting.

Granted, I've not done one of those quests very recently, but I am confident enough to say that it has not been changed either. If it has, I would first guess it's unintended, but I find that very unlikely, so there is indeed something else amiss (I'd bet without a hiss).

yeah I have NNI 100 - so if it talked to that - I would be done now. Still shows have "more than 49" to go (probably 2000.... ugh)
