FFXI Not Working Out of No Where

So I went to log on POL a few days ago and the windows security box came up like normal and I selected YES to allow POL access and then nothing happens. So I reboot my laptop and try again. The same thing happens. I tried other games and programs and they work fine. I didn't change anything, no updates, driver updates, or anything like that. POL and FFXI stopped working for some reason.

Not sure what kind of issue this could be since it is only happening with POL and FFXI. Also sorry but I didn't know what thread to put this in since NA tech issues are no longer a thread.

Any suggestions?

So an update.... I just uninstalled FFXI and POL then purchased a new one from amazon with the expansion pack from last year. It said it downloaded and installed fine. I again click on the POL icon to start the game and the windows box came up... I select yes to allow access then again nothing happens.

Can this be a driver issue? because all other games work fine.... Please help.
