    Save old weapons that don't have "+skill" on them(Kraken Club, Ridill, Thief's Knife)

    I'd like an options that make us able to augment old famous weapons or rather augment the "player skill" to use them.
    All old weapons that don't have the "Skill +" stats (Ridill, Kraken Club, Thief's Knife...etc...)

    Because with the very high evasion "lv119" monsters have in the game nowadays, these weapons comming to be really useless, and i think its sad, because they was really fun or usefull to use.

    For exemple Kraken Club is still on Rank 1 prize on Mog Bonanza, but its like unusable on new contents cause of the lack of skill on it.

    About the Kraken Club, alot of jobs liked to use it, for exemple DD in WHM was something fun and alternative, there is even a thread on these forum about it:

    RNG liked to use it too, and DRK zerg was an epic experience on high DEF monsters...

    For exemple i think, its should be a good idea to add a new "Merit Point category" that make able players to get "+242" skills for the weapons that don't have any "+skill" stats on them, and make it automatically unactivated for the weapons that already have "+skill" option on them.
    This is just a random idea, i think it could be alot of way to fix this problem

    Kraken club is a mistake that SE will never repeat again, they never added more jobs onto it, they nerfed DRKs abusing it with bloodweapon, and they finally broke free of having to worry about potential abuse of the weapon in newer content since it lacks skill+ so it whiffs on iLevel content.
    The last thing the game needs is people cheezing their way through new game content with an ultra rare item that SE had to waste time designing around to avoid abuse.

    Its a toy/trophy item for playing around in dynamis and old content. If SE really wanted to give jobs that much TP gain/feed ability they'd add a new multiattack weapon type.

    What's wrong with KC? It offers new builds for certain jobs and that creates variety. Most of the current weapon is about 1 weapon with higher STR and another one with higher acc, it lacks variety and no room for different cool builds.

    IMO, what makes a game fun isn't everyone wearing 1 weapon for STR and another one for ACC, but more variety for different playstyle.

    What I'd love is a Magian Trial to bring the Octave Club to be exactly like the Kraken Club. All the other weapons, that they made a rare/ex version of, has the same stats as the plain rare one, except the Octave Club. It's so lame having to leave some jobs on my duo-box account at lvl96 just to use the Octave Club...

    I'd love to see a 119'd Sagasinger. It's an interesting weapon. And draining enemy buffs is hilarious(I wish it worked on SPs though...) But you just can't use it anymore, cause you can't hit anything with it. Also, I suspect there's a M.acc check on the drain effect proc. So, lacking the magic acc skill+ of Ilvl weps, you probably wouldn't see many procs even if you could land a hit.

    EDIT:Another good candidate for an ilvl upgrade would be Murasamemaru. It has a unique and powerful special effect, but requires a ton of extra acc buffs over ilvl weapons to be usable.

    Can +skill be added to the VW Pulse : Cell Weapons too, any one that has one worked hard to get it or paid for 5 cells for it. please help thank you

    Matsui previously mentioned that reforging and upgrading of equipment would basically be limited to RME weapons, relic/artifact equipment, and other special gear. Instead of upgrading existing items from the past, we will be introducing stronger versions as new types of equipment.

    Hopefully "other special gear" includes Empyrean reforging to 109/119 eventually as well. It'd be a shame to exclude such interesting and unique armor designs that give bonuses to more current abilities, and seem to be generally more practical. Not to mention Empyrean armor *is* the next set of JSE after Artifact and Relic armor; it'd be a shame to exclude in on principle. I'm personally saving Rem pages towards Empyrean reforging, as I feel Artifact armor is just plain hideous, and Relic armor is bland after seeing it in play for over five years (and are mostly repaints of said hideous Artifact armor). Here's to hoping we'll see Empyrean 109 gear some day. /cheer!
