    dev1176 - Please tell us this is not another proc system for WKR NM

    As the title said, please clarify whether this is another proc system that SE has in mind. If it is, for the sanity of your player base, please make it so that it isn't job specific but rather something that every job can proc regardless of what job(s) might have entered the WKR.

    I believe they mean the !!s will pop up when the monsters gain their auras or change their damage taken & such, for instance Tojil takes a ton of damage from magic at the start, then it changes to slashing, followed by piercing, then blunt(order for Slash/Pierce may be backward) so now the !!s will basically tell us when it changes between those. That is what I think at least.

    This has absolutely nothing to do with Delve. See below link to their thread.

    http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/th...nd-Adjustments

    and specifically:

    Two exclamation points will display above the heads of Naakuals when players succeed in changing the beasts' battle mode during wildskeeper reives.

    If that doesnt' sounds like the Naakuals getting "proc'ed", then I dont know what is. I'm just hoping that this is more a translation issue and not what SE has in mind and this is why I started the thread.

    The worst thing that ever happened to this game.

    I know the adjustment does not involve Delve, however, they have said in the past that WKs were made the same as their Delve counterparts in most ways so that players could use the WKs which are more easily accessible in order to learn the secrets about the Delve versions, thus, if it happens to Tojil, it likely happens to Achuka, and if it happens to Achuka, it fits what I said I believe it to mean.

    I took the dev post as It is a signal that the mobs behavior changed. It says nothing about proccing or us changing said behavior. Just because its a !! doesnt mean its a proc. do you proc the goblins random item chest when you see the white !! ? I dont see how anyone could figure it was some kind of new proc system.

    €°(((><

    You put the tag, 'dev1176', into the wrong place. ^^;

    (I Added it to the tag cloud for your convenience, for free!)

    Also, much like Trumpy, I, too, thought it was pretty clear: the exclamation marks would simply indicate (make it more clear and obvious) a change to what already is happening. Not weakness triggering (or procing, as people tend to call it... much to my chagrin ~shudders~).

    I could be wrong, of course!
