Sorting out the Auction House

Ive been hoping for this the last few years. With the release of the Adoulin expansion, even more so.

Can we get the items in the Misc. category sorted into a few other categories. The list of items in Misc is very long, and its getting longer every update. We could help that out with proper organization tho.

Have all the abyssea items sorted into there own tab: pop items

Have the Adoulin items/delve items in there own category: Rocks, shards, beads, airlixers, skirmish pop items, ghastly stones, verdigris stones.

Voidwatch category: all the cells traded, and the pulse cells

And the one that i have always questioned from day one in this game, Chocobo items. Why are the split up between Pet items and Misc category. And why on earth are they listed in the weapons category. For a major staple in the final fantasy series, the chocobos should at least have there own category!


Those are just a few examples, and probably the larger ones at that. Sorting all those out into there own categories would greatly reduce the ever growing list under the Misc tab on the auction house.

I have to agree, that list is getting longer & longer, its already much to long as it is, and half the things added to the game which can be sold are added to it, we need some more sorting in there, or flat out more categories, that way its easier to navigate. It would also be nice if they could sort out some other things, like you pointed out with the Chocobo items being in 2 places, well, BST pets are only in Ammo, but it would be nice for them & their food to have a category, and for Ammo to have its own sub-categories too if possible, like Bolts, Arrows, and so on.

This is a really good idea. Even if they just broke it up a bit, it would really help.

Totally support this. Someone pointed out to me that you can sort them by expansion instead of alphabetically. That doesn't help much in the long run though, there is still WAY too much.

Don't forget adding search categories to Alchemy while you're at it. Longest single list on the AH by far.


That, and if they're to tinker with the AH, add an option to check the price on an item currently in your inventory.
