Sorry to make an all English post again. I really wish I could communicate in Japanese, but I can't.

I just want to say thank you to those of you who took time to translate this for me, as I am incapable of doing so myself, and I don't want to insult the language by using google translations.

I'm happy I'm not alone in my opinion. NA/EU players feel their opinions are not heard that often, but it seems even our fellow FFXI players from Japan also feel the same way, sadly. I do not dislike our NA/EU community representatives, it just seemed like they only translated from Japanese to English and not from English to Japanese so our voices can be heard without the language barriers between players.

Thank you for your time and I am sorry for troubling those of you who had to translate for me, I'll stop making you be my voice now. Thank you again, and see you in FFXI friends.

あまり方針に批判的な内容は書かないようにしているつもりなのですが、
今気になっていることを一つだけ。

先般発売された雑誌の開発者インタビューで、
「現状認識としては、賛否両論である。否定的な声は目立つが、
満足している人の声というものは上がってこない。だから、
一方の声だけを聞いて判断はしない」
という主旨の発言がありました。一理あると思います。
ただ、一つ重要な視点が欠けているように思います。

否定的な声（クレーム）が全体の一部に過ぎないのと同様に、
上がっているクレームもまた、氷山の一角に過ぎないということです。
潜在的なサイレントクレームの脅威は、とりわけプレイヤーの我々が
肌で強く感じていて、今こうしてアラートとして上がってきているわけです。
そこに対する危機感が足りないのではという指摘に関しては、
もう少し真摯に受け止めて頂きたいなと思います。

このフォーラムは田中さんの置き土産であり、生かすも殺すも
残された人間次第だと思います。我々プレイヤーも含めて。
