The Shadow Lord. I want to know what happens to him!
I voted Mihli. She had a very interesting backstory, both as a ninja assassin and as a student buddy with Aphmau at the Temple, and she is one of my favourite npc, so I'd love to see more about her!
My vote goes to Achtelle.
Really, there's a lot of NPCs in this game I like, but Achtelle... Come on. We've got to find out what's really up with her (And by extension, our wyverns). Adoulin just seems like that perfect avenue for a ToaU Serpent General-Style quest.

Prishe and Shantotto imo have recieved quite a bit of exposure already.

I don't think there will be concensus here. I think what we'll find is plenty of people who would like to see storyline related to their favorite job's patron character. (Shantotto, Zeid, Rainemard, etc) They seem to be fishing for quests to add. I'm hoping while they're at it they can make the rewards for these quests weapons that players will find both fun and useful. There is some reading ahead if this idea intrests you, but hidden with HB for the sake of the thread.
I would like to see job specific quests with 3 different rewards. (Kind of like Divine Might) I've come up with a list of suguestions that I hope gets people excited enough to get implemented.
Red Mage
A magic skill and accuracy staff that will make enfebles stick and heals worth a darn
A sword that enhances lv2 en spells to the point of making RDM mele a thing
A dagger like the sword
Blue Mage
A sword that greatly cuts down the recast time for Chain Affinity/Burst Affinity
A sword that greatly cuts down the recast time for Unbridled Learning
A sword good enough to inflict damage on a IT monster.
Paladin
Shield good enough to use.
A great sword for damage.
A great sword designed to enhance healing.
Summoner
A ftaff that greatly cuts down recast for BP Rage/BP Ward
A staff that greatly enances your pet's Atk/Def
A staff capable of dealing mele damage.
Black Mage
A Staff that caps Conserve Mp
A staff that greatly increases M Atk
A Staff that reduces elemental restance for spells cast
Thief
A dagger good enough to inflict damage on a IT monster.
A dagger that allows sneak attack and trick attack to be used while solo
A dagger that increases enemity evasion and parrying
Dancer
A hand-to-hand weapon with enhanced hand-to-hand skill.
A dagger that greatly reduces recast on waltzes.
A dagger good enough to inflict damage on a IT monster
Monk
A hand-to-hand weapon that increases enemity evasion guarding and parrying
A hand-to-hand weapon capable of good damage
A hand-to-hand weapon designed to make counter fatal to all monsters EP or below but fatal to the mnk em or above
Dark Knight
A scythe with a STR based weaponskill
A greatsword capable of good damage
A scythe that adds 2 tiers to each elemental magic spell cast. (Fire becomes Fire 3 etc)
Ninja
A kitana capable of good damage
A Kitana that augments ninja tool expertise merits 4×
A throwing weapon that is not consumed and is capable of dealing damage.
Ranger
Arrow that is not consumed
Bolt that is not consumed
A ranged weapon that accepts bolts and arrows designed to skill archery and marksmanship
Samurai
A great kitana desined to augment Seigan/defensive combat skills and increase enemity
A great kitana capable of dealing good damage.
A great kitana that greatly reduces Meditate/Sekkanoki recast
Scholar
A staff that augments a SCH's healing role
A staff that adds 1 tier to elemental magic
A staff that augments the weather effects enough to make them useful.
Warrior
A great axe with a STR based weaponskill
A great sword capable of decent damage
A great axe designed for tanking
White Mage
A club that augments Afflatus Misery
A club that augments Afflatus Solace
A club capable of damaging an IT monster.
Puppetmaster
An activator that augments the pet's stats
An activator that augments the pet's skills
A hand-to-hand weapon that is capable of dealing damage.
Corsair
A bullet that is not consumed.
A dagger/sword/gun capable of dealing damage
A dagger/sword/gun that makes Snake Eye 100% with 5/5 merits
Bard
An instrument with the ability "Forte: next song will effect all alliance members in range"
An instrument that increases the max number of songs active
An instrument that greatly increases Bald/Paeon effect
Beastmaster
An Axe capable of dealing damage
An axe that makes charm+familiar last 1 hour
An axe that makes jug pets never disapear
Dragoon
A polearm capable of dealing damage
A polearm that greatly enhances wyvern defense and adds regen effect
A polearm that selects your wyvern regardless of sub and adds job abilities to the wyvern triggers
Some of these are not fully thought or written out but you get the idea. With lv99, af3+1, full spell list, capped skills and these weapons every job should be playable in all content and we get a nice story based around each job's patron character.
