    Seekers of Adoulin - Scaredy-Cats

Sorry first time posting to this forums . . . I wanted to report a bug regarding the Scaredy-Cats quest. I apologize in advance, if I'm providing the information in an incorrect format - please see below for issue witnessed:

While engaging the FOMOR PIONEER - we had a party of six (6) Beastmasters. Three (3) of us had Lucky Broths casted while the other three (3) had Herbal Broths. We were amazed when the Fomor Pioneer used "Cure V" to heal one of the Hippogryphs and actually the pet did recover its HPs which were lost while engaging this NPC.

The Fomor Pioneer used "Cure V" on a total of four (4) pets before it was taken down. Now in my estimation, I really don't think this NPC is supposed to be healing our pets while their trying to kill her . . . just my opinion

    behaves that way by design:

The NM may cast Cure IV / Cure V on players / pets occasionally, healing them for ~600 HP.
If you follow the dialogues for the quest, it may make more sense.

To make sure it is working correctly, I have have submitted your information to the development team, and they will thoroughly investigate this matter, based on your report. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that a direct response will be posted on this thread, but I do recommend consulting http://www.PlayOnline.com or http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/fo...ersion-Updates for any details about the development team's investigation.
