Sneak Attack and Trick Attack bonuses

I was wondering how do the bonuses affect Sneak Attack and Trick Attack. Does the extra DEX increase the damage done by Sneak Attack when equipped and performing the job ability or does it increase it when equipped, buffed by Sneak Attack and striking the mob?

I always thought it was when the mob was struck since the DEX was added on top of the Damage. Unless i misinterpreted your question and I'm thinking of something else entirely.

All base damage from DEX and AGI, as well as bonuses from the hands are applied at the time of the critical hit, so you must be wearing your gear when the hit connects.

It doesn't mater what you are wearing when Sneak Attack is activated, only for the hit itself.
