I wasn't using Delve as my argument, I was referring to collecting Skirmish pops, which is an asinine activity if you go for them without spending gil. Doing as many activities as possible daily has gained me two head pieces since launch, maybe I just have bad luck but simply trying it is a huge fight against RNG.

Just because you haven't got every piece of gear from an event that was added a month ago doesn't make it inaccessible it is very accessible it just isn't Abyssea easy. And don't use the "never see shouts for anything" excuse because there is nothing stopping anyone from shouting themselves unless their keyboard is broken or something.

Point is when treasures first came out all we had was besieged and assault, just imagine the brokeness of every event if they decided to release einherjar, salvage, znms level 8 besieged, alexander and odin fights plus every mission bcnm all at once. Just focus on one thing at a time for now the game is all about progressing your character not plowing through all the content the moment it comes out.

If farming the items needed to do this new content is the hardest thing about said content, I am going to be very sad. Doubly so if I end up spending gil to get it done, only to find out that the "hard part" was frittering away play time in Dynamis financing the entrance items.
