    [EU] Congestion during the Version Update (Mar. 27)

    Currently, due to heavy server traffic, time out or network errors may occur at the version check screen. This screen appears when you log into FINAL FANTASY XI and a new version update is available.

    In case the version update fails or you are unable to log in, we ask that you please wait a while and then try again.

    We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding and cooperation in making this a smooth version update.

    As of Mar. 27, 2013 20:00 (GMT), we are continuing to experience heavy server traffic. Timeout or network errors may still occur at the version check screen or during the version update shown when you log into FINAL FANTASY XI.

    We will continue to investigate and conduct all necessary operations to fully resolve this matter. In case the version update fails or errors are encountered, we ask that you please wait a while and then try again.

    We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

    [EU] Version Update Congestion Relief (Mar. 28)

    The congestion which was preventing some players from performing the Mar. 27th FINAL FANTASY XI version update has now eased.

    You may now perform the version update as normal.
