FF freezes every 3-4 second for 1 sec

After the last update the game has been unplayable, stuttering happened at the title screen and continued in game.
before the April 2 update everything was running smoothly.

I'm running FFXI on a Asus U80a Laptop

The game runs decently on this setup before so I wonder what changed to make it run this badly all of a sudden.

edit: solved it 99% I'm playing on the wireless and when I disabled my wired network adapter, the stuttering was pretty much gone, when I enabled it again the stutter was back. so I guess that was the issue
