    Ultimate healing gear thread!

I want to calculate the best healing gear for single cures. Help me out a bit.

    http://www.ffxiah.com/members/item-sets/?id=293272

    Important stats
    Potency: 50%
    Healing magic skill: 67
    MND: 43
    VIT: 3

    Direct boosts
    Cure spellcasting time -13~14%
    Healing magic casting time -12%
    Enhances "Fast Cast" effect (2%)
Enhances "Afflatus Solace" effect (10% extra Stoneskin)

    Indirect boosts
    Movement speed +12%
    Potency of "Cure" recieved 4%
Converts 5% of "Cure" amount to MP
    Enmity -7
    Enhances "Resist Silence" effect

And is it really worth it to do a precast set-up you swith to with a macro for faster casting? Will the gear switch in time? Right now it's at 26% faster and with merits it's 46% faster. Plus 2% Fast Cast however that adds.

Another thing is that Adoulin is out soon. Wouldn't go too far to get new equipment when there may be better stuff around the corner!

You could make a monster list of gear for each slot that has Potency, Healing skill, MND, VIT and gear with important boosts. And if you maintain it you can look up what is easy to switch out and in.

Discussion people, I want discussion! Later on we might look at AoE heals and bar-spells!

You probably want to look at switching in Iaso Feet (MND-8), then you can free up another potency slot with 4%, you get cure spellcasting 5-6% AND movement speed 12% so you can reach your target faster (and indirect resist silence).
It is possible to get potency 4% and 7% on Zenith Pumps +1 but then you get lower DEF and no movement speed (or resist silence). And it's insanely hard to get that aug.

To answer my own Question. Healer's Mitts +1 or Colossus's Torque seems like a good trade in for getting Iaso Boots.

    Mitts would give:
    +6 effective Healing Skill
    Enmity -4
    (-6 DEF and +15MP)

    Torque would give:
+1 or 6 on lightsday effective Healing Skill

Not really an option byt Marduk+1 hands would give:
    +3% Fast Cast
    -2 effective Healing Skill

Mitt's seem like the way to go. Will update first post!

Cravygravy linked me this cool set: http://www.ffxiah.com/item-sets/293281

You could go for Zenith there with Potency and Healing skill and Colossus's Torque. If you get the aug right on Zenith Pumps+1.

Edit: Dunno if I got incredibly lucky or what. Got perfect potency and healing on my Zenith Pumps +1 in less than 10 tries! Didn't even have Zenith Pumps when I made the thread. It's good to stock up on useless junk sometimes!

This set have 15 more effective healing skill than the one in the original post! Will not do much on the numbers, but a little boost. A Cure VI Stoneskin should be around 500 in this set.

Looks like they're nerfing the enmity reduction for Cure V, so you might want to try and aim for more enmity- gear ^^

Actually I believe it's the opposite. If cure 1/2/3/4 are giving 30% of the current enmity they are giving, the static enmity on Cure V will be higher comparatively. Since Cure V does not follow the curing enmity format (since it is static) they are likely going to lower the enmity to keep it in line with how it is presently.

Hmm, found another set in the guide at ffxiah. It's a bit better except on lightdays. But there are better set pieces that will make a separate set for lightdays/weather.

Pants are simply easier for me to obtain(can 90% of it solo with bst). This set helps with storage as well as there's alot of already added benefits. Casting time down, movement speed. Nabu's is probably the biggest difference and movement speed combined with feet.
