    What we all want to know...

    I know the expansion comes out in 2 weeks and it takes probably just as long to get a response, making this question kind of moot. But still, I can't help but ask...

    You're giving RUN it's own hate gain ability...right? It'd be kind of nice if being a tank didn't mean immediate /war for once.

    From some of the videos and some news article RUN has been seen using Flash for hate so it could have the same hate mechanic as PLD since it seems like it also has the same HP and MP pools as PLD as well. And technically the only tank out of the two that SE are calling 100% tanks that needs /WAR is NIN /WAR for PLD just helps it with holding hate especially since it doesn't have flash at the lower levels.

    NIN doesn't really need /WAR. A good NIN can cast the wheel and deal damage to hold hate. It has been ages since I've seen anyone sub WAR for provoke.

    Yea, provoke is an old hate tool and really even a PLD meleeing at 99 will out-hate a provoke. They are doing some retooling of the enmity system so hopefully it should get better, but currently Provoke is only good as an initial and/or non-damaging enmity pull.
