    Trade Window Display

    Greetings!

I'm sure almost all of you have experienced a time when you were trading items with a friend only to have the trade rejected because your inventory was full.

The development team made a slight adjustment to the trade window so that the number of items in your inventory will be displayed, and it will look like the below (Japanese screenshot)

The QA team is currently testing to make sure everything is working as it should and once they give the green light we plan to implement this in the next version update.

This is actually a kind of neat "quality of life" change.

Would be neater if the trading algorithm was smart enough to recognize that trading five slots for five other slots should work regardless of current inventory status. At least another Windower feature got incorporated into FFXI, which is always nice to see.

Now we just need a feature that lets us acquire items while having 80/80 inventory as long as we have incomplete stacks of the item in question.

They actually made Voidwatch items do that with ingots and whatnot, so it's obviously possible. Hopefully they can do that with the rest of the game, too.

They did? I wasn't even aware, but that's awesome.

They did, but VW drops go to you in a weird way now, not saying its impossible, just that it looks a bit... off, so dunno if they could easily do that with normal drops or not.

Need to update the trading of gil too, which doesn't even use an inv slot, but still requires you to have a free slot to receive it >.>

Yeah I second that. It's completely annoying to have a trade rejected for something that doesn't even use an inventory slot.

Each person is an individual being, capable of independent thought and unique emotion, deserving respect, dignity, and compassion in all things, at all times, and in all places.

To do anything else denies the self of its humanity.
