New JA idea to ease procing difficulties for BLU

How about a job ability with a 90 second recast which allows you to cast 1 spell from your blue magic list that isn't set. Or even better how about a 10 minute ability that lasts for 30 seconds and allows you to cast any learned blue magic spell whether it's set with blue points or not. Not only would it help for procing but it would also help BLU's versatility since many of our spells are very good but are situational(diamondhide/whitewind/Triumphant roar) such that we never really get to use them since we're so limited by blue points and spell slots over more important spells(which hardly get used every but they lend themselves to opening up or enhancing job traits for BLU like Dual Wield tiers or Double Attack->Triple Attack).

With all of the spells BLU has in the game(over 100 and probably more to come in the expansion) will BLU still have the same measly 20 spell slots and 55-60 blue points while other jobs usable spell lists are expanding exponentially? Since about 40% of BLU's spells aren't used for their effect but for their trait, could the devs maybe also look into lowering BLU points across the board so that spells only cost 1-3 and not 1-5 or maybe increase our slots and blue points so we have like 30 slots with 80 points to work with?

I had hoped for something like this for BLU since Enlightenment was introduced for SCH. The concept is similar in that it lets you cast a spell normally unavailable under current arts.

I agree about expanding blue magic points too. It's not my most frequently used job but it always seems way too restrictive and tempting to just stay with the same setup all the time for ease (outside of procs of course), which is sad with so many spells available. I'd even be fine if SE just created another assignment category, where the spells you put in that category didn't contribute to stats or traits, but could just be cast.

I like the ideas. But I'm sure someone wont and will insist that rather than trying to adjust the job SE should just fix proc based events.

At any rate, I would like more access to the spells I have fought tooth and nail to learn. Whether it comes from more points/slots to set spells or some other method like the ones mentioned. I support it.

Just reduce the ridiculous 3-4 spells per element down to 1-2.
