No Title for defeating Odin 6/17/2012

My einherjar group fought and defeated Odin this past sunday (after the huge june update) and we did not get a title. I found out later that this was a known glitch that was posted on a tiny forum on ffxiah.com. After several attempts at calling GMs and getting the typical auto reply I got a live person. He basically told me that title's can't be given out, feathers can't be restored so basically I'm SOL. There has to be something that can be done to compensate my group for the work we've done for that past 9 weeks (weekly group). Yes I understand that it's easy to do now but that's not the point. I don't understant how SE can know about a problem, not address it openly to it's paying customers and then not even bother to try and resolve the issue.
