    [DEV1119] How much?

    Considering you are planing to increase the distance, care to give us an insight on exactly how much you plan on increasing this? will the change be uniform across all weapon skills iirc different ws's have varied ranges other then the 3 point blank ws's mentioned previously.

    Yes, will the distance penalty still apply to WS, with this change? While it's nice to shoot Last Stand from far away it would be disappointing if it was far less damaging at range.

    Ok Far as Archery goes I went into Abyssea and test with stacked regain atmas. With the exception of Blast Arrow here are the following maximum distances in yalms.

    Sidewinder 16.5 (tested this several times just to be sure)
    Empyreal Arrow 17.7
    Refulgent Arrow 17.7
    Arching Arrow 17.7
    Apex Arrow 17.7
    Flaming Arrow 17.7
    Piercing Arrow 17.7
    Dulling Arrow 17.7

    I'm going to test marksmanship as well but it's probably safe to assume they're the same (i.e.: Detonator = Empyreal Arrow, Slug shot = Sidewinder, etc).

    With the exception of Blast Shot and Numbing Shot, I've found the following, oddly Slug Shot did not seem to change from before the update.


    Slug Shot 15.9 (unlike sidewinder this one appears unchanged, tried it several times down to 15.9)
    Hot Shot 17.7
    Split Shot 17.7
    Sniper Shot 17.7
    Heavy Shot 17.7
    Detonator 17.7
    Last Stand 17.7

    eh i was curious to know how far out they plan on expanding the rangers post adjustment, current range values were already known, thanks though.

    does the test server client allow you to innately view distances? in all honesty why cant there be transparency on basic stats like that -.-
