Firstly, I propose that a job ability or self target spell is added that will have the following effects:
When the spell is active, paladins using a sword and shield will change -all- their damage type to the kind used by twilight scythe or requiescat. The effect will diminish over time/swing in the way that the effects of enlight diminish over time thus allowing paladin to do more consistant damage whilest not increasing it's overall damage and therefore allowing some balance with the kinds of damage dealing capabilities many stronger damage dealers enjoy.
It should be on a recast timer halfway between reprisal and enlight in my estimation if it were a spell.
If it were a job ability, something similar to berserk or last resort perhaps?
Secondly, I propose adjusting the way atonement works.
Atonement currently never deals it's maximum damage on anything that matters.
Atonement's maximum damage is too low for current content.
I'm suggesting that making it unresistable and capping at around 1500 damage.
And finally, I would like to suggest the possibility of adding stratagem like charges to divine emblem thus allowing us to use it more often, but having to use our own judgement on when to use them.
I hope these adjustments don't seem monstrously overpowered, any discussion or improvements on these ideas would be welcomed.
