    Xbox Gamertag Bind

    Ok so I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this, but I'd like to make sure.

    I first started playing FFXI back in '08 on my Xbox 360. I had to bind my XBL gamertag to my POL ID and to my knowledge there is no way to get it removed. I stopped playing FF for years until I just recently picked it back up on my PC. I didn't remember my old info, so i just started over with this account. My wife decided that she wanted to play with me, but on the Xbox. So i bought the game again for the 360. I got to thinking about it and since I have the game, I might as well get the achievements for it. Now there's the problem... My gamertag is bonded to my old account from back in '08. Is there anyway to get this fixed?

    I am quite confident that, as you no doubt are guessing yourself, there is nothing to fix as the achievements are indeed bound to an account.

    You can't have the achievements without actually unlocking them.
    I guess it could be comparing to 'moving' all completed quests from account/character to another, which obviously doesn't happen.

    That said, it's all just the reasoning in my mind, as in, I have never even had an Xbox, and likely never will, so I have never looked into these 'tags' personally.
    One point of reasoning could be that, since 'account sharing' (between other than a legal guardian and his/her\other minor child) itself is against the User Agreement, it might be considered as part of account data that can not be shared between users or accounts.


    On another note, I'm not sure if this really constitutes as a technical issue, so it might be better to head over to the Support Centre/Center, and contact the Customer Service regarding Account/Billing.
