We are currently experiencing technical difficulties wherein players are unable to log into FINAL FANTASY XI.

The issue is being addressed, and new updates will follow as additional information becomes available.

We have determined that the technical difficulty, wherein players are unable to log into FINAL FANTASY XI, is being caused by an issue with the network equipment.

This same network equipment issue has been confirmed as the cause for the search function difficulties that surfaced on March 6. Therefore, we will be conducting a joint maintenance at the date and time listed below. During the maintenance, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable for play. The duration of the maintenance is currently unknown, but we will provide an update as soon as additional information becomes available.

During the following time, all Worlds in FINAL FANTASY XI experienced technical difficulties listed below. The issue has been addressed, and players are now able to access FINAL FANTASY XI again.

In addition, we have determined that the Auction House and search function difficulties which surfaced on March 6 were caused by the same network equipment issue. Therefore, these technical difficulties have been addressed in conjunction with this maintenance, Mar. 8, 2012 from 4:31 to 6:35 (GMT).
