Avatar Primes vs a 99?

ok now i reach my lev 95+...
do you have any advice to make this fights?
atm i have as avatars:
carby-garuda-shiva-titan-ramuh
need to fight levi and ifrit
i am 95 smn and 50 sch/whm
as per equip i'm still working on it and i have HQ staves, ice grip
af1 horn, caller's pendant, graiai earring, austere robe, austere cuffs/carby mitts, 2x astral rings, tiresia's cape, hierarch belt , af1 legs, austere feet.
1032mp atm.
what's the best practice to solo the avatars? it's something as BP or only a long attack of the avatar with "occasional" BP?
i'm just trying to understand how is solo with smn.. as a galka i'm all the time worried about mp's

At 75 it was definately a case of always use the avatar strong to the one you're fighting, and only use magical BPs, never the phys ones. When I first did it, it was tier 4 nukes, but if you have the merit abilities, these can work too.

You need leviathan to kill ifrit, so kill leviathan first with Ramuh. Take some meds with you because if Levi spams spring water it could be a drawn-out fight. The ifrit fight should be really easy.

Always engage, BP rage with your T4 nuke after your avatar lands a couple of melee attacks, then pulll back half way down the ramp to give you some time to recast if needed. Keep stoneskin and if /rdm or /whm, barelement up for the 2 hour.

Ok....
i made the first avatar of course before your advices
made ifrit without levi... fight went quite smooth
i went smn/whm
buffed with aerial armor + earthen ward. barfira.
rest
then used garuda and predator claw
as per food/drinks/medicines i used 2 yag drink and a hi-elixir (maybe too mutch... i closed the fight with 700+ mp)
total time with buffs 11 mins.
i used the same tech as i used for maat... so stay away from the avatar and run to the crystal before the 2h... so i can resummon garuda before ifrit come to me again.
was cool and interesting doing the fight also because i knew that i was not in the optimal shape (no correct avatar) but.. was cool. these are my first accomplishments as a summoner ... and so i know are so small compared with what i read here but... for me are small important steps to have confidence with the job.
for Levi i will use your advice (tier IV or also merited 75 BP from Ramuh)

Hey guys, Starting the game back up and I have decided to reroll into my Summoner again. I was wondering, now that everyone's 99 in like a day. Can a 99, iunno, Monk, for example.. Solo prime? More importantly Fenrir Prime? Or will I still need to find 5 other summoner's with 5 other leviathans like I did the first time around?

If you're still havign a problem with fenrir, bst can solo it.

Diabolos I couldn't solo on any job at 99. Nightmare is just too much to handle without healing support. You could probably manage it in a duo with a healer, if the healer stayed out of Nightmare range.

I soloed Diabolos Prime on BLU. I was getting Diabolos for my WHM alt account, the most she did was barsleepra at the top, after i dropped and engaged he was dead in about 30 seconds.

As for the main 6 avatars, a summoner could solo them at 75, i used to do it for fun, only one thats really a problem is leviathan cause of his healing spam at lower percentange, but they can all be soloed... at 99 with the new avatar abilities and such, i'd imagine this to be a cakewalk.

It seems that they really are a cakewalk at 99, but I'm sure that if you're not careful it could still go terribly wrong

Fenrir and Diabolos should prove a challenge though XD

Ferir soled yesterday... took 1 resummon (used Garuda). 1 vile elixir just to be sure, because i was not /sch but /whm.
For BP i used Predatow Claws.
don't know if was luck
moonlight charge did 150ihst to garuda with Harura on my big head.
need to re-try for the avatar (i 1st took the item for evoker)

Tried a few mins ago to solo Diabolos...
i don't think is possibile soloing it. not because is too much for avatar's (my predator claws lands for 2k dmga taking him to 72% in 1 shot.
problem is the hate control.
despite this predator claw, and a BP:ward, diabolos continue hitting me and do not consider Garuda for 1 second.
so if i cannot learn a way to manage hate on my avatar i don't think Diabolos is soloable by smn.

I wonder if this is something SE added to the fight to stop PUPs from being able to do perfect solo at 75?
