    [dev1088] BST Adjustment feedback

    The feral howl adjustment looks pretty good. I think a 3 min recast would be perfect, but 5 min is not terrible. Also, switching the additional merits to adding accuracy is perfect. This move needs accuracy. I would understand the lower accuracy if it lasted as long as terrorize from a mob, (like 30s~60s) but it doesn't last that long at all.

    Killer instinct recast reduction to 5 minutes is fantastic. When the circle ability reduction was announced for many jobs its was a breath of fresh air. However, I notice the previous proposal has changed a bit. If you don't want to add killer effects w/ additional merits, that is understandable... but we completely lost the same level of duration that the other circle abilities received.

    Even if it requires merits, please let the duration for killer intinct reach the 3 minute mark that it does for other job's circle abilities.

    The treasure hunter nerf bat for yuly and falcorr is a huge let down also. The balance argument just didn't hold water. The balance is included in the high cost and difficulty of getting the jugs.

    I"m curing how falcorr's attack strength will be adjusted. Will it be just attack? or also strength? I'll be testing that after an update. How much will it be increased?

    This, this, this - even if they want to scrap the Killer Effects adjustment for KI, please let our Circle-type JA be on par in terms of duration with other Circles, especially since we need merits even to just activate this ability.

    I wonder if, even with the maximum of +20% accuracy, Feral Howl's accuracy will be worthwhile. The accuracy of Feral Howl is reported to be somewhere between "pretty bad" and "unacceptably bad" on anything of a high enough level that interrupting spells or abilities would be key. Some stuff even seems immune.

    It is not exactly easy to test given that five minute recast, however, and lots of stuff has turned out differently than expected after someone worked up the self-hatred to measure it accurately.

    I could see Killer Instinct starting out low and growing to 3 minutes at 5/5. Less than half the duration of other circle abilities is pretty lame, though. I assume this is because Killer Instinct covers a wide number of families, but I think it's also important to consider that Killer Instinct is Beastmaster's only offensive ability as well as it's only ability that directly benefits a group.

    Killer effects mean more for Beastmaster than for other jobs with circle abilities, so why shouldn't Beastmaster be able to have a "better" circle ability active for the same duration as those jobs?

    The changes to Falcorr could be positive, for me at least, depending on how drastic they are. If he ends up being an economical option with high evasion and high attack then I'd prefer that to a higher level of Treasure Hunter. Of course, the Phase II changes will actually be almost nothing and change literally nothing, but it's nice to have hope anyway.

    Cue Falcorr getting Attack Bonus I, not to fussed though if the recipe ends up actually being cheap, though I doubt it will be.

    I don't see why they should do the familiar adjustment in two phases. Don't lower the TH tier without giving back something to Falcorr or adjusting the jug recipe right away. Seeing the two phase adjustment makes me nervous, like they're going to backtrack from their promise to make the jug recipe less arduous. Fast track the COMPLETE familiar adjustment and ignore feral how for the time being, as jugs effect the bst job far more than a seldom used tier 2 merit category.

    And for the love of god, extend the duration of falcorr. Whoever conceived the idea of that jug 's mats and then making it last less than most of the other jugs introduced since 76+ should be horse-whipped-long and hard.

    Adjustment of the Yuly jug would be nice too.

    Treasure hunter3 isn't much to begin with, other jobs can already achieve TH3 with the use of /THF. to get TH pet we sacrifice DD power, please DO NOT take what little we have left for the job.

    BST has nothing special.. a little bit of TH3 won't hurt? removing it doesn't make any sense considering THF and RNG can achieve TH9+

    Killer instinct: Increase duration.
    Feral Howl: Increase duration to a minimum of 30sec or lower recast time to ~1min? it's useless otherwise since DNC and /DNC can stun every ~30sec for the same duration.

    Base recast time should be 3 minutes with merits adding 10 seconds each additional. Or at least give us 2 or 2:30 base, then longer with merits.

    I must say it's ridiculous you're removing TH one update, then adding the new recipe and bonus' in another. It should be both at the same time or nothing.

    PS. Why the change in Killer Instinct, that was not what the proposed changes were said to be.
