If I have a user on my ignore list (and thus their messages are by default hidden), and they have a post in a thread that has been locked, if I click the link to show the hidden message ("View Post") it simply opens the entire thread up again in a new window/tab, but doesn't show the hidden post.

Are you saying that, when a thread is locked, any "blocked" posts will be unblocked by default?

No, ignored users are still blocked. I just can't selectively unblock ignored posts.

Is it the same for posts that contain [/hide] text?

Not sure. Would have to find a locked thread with [/hide] text in it, and I don't see any after a bit of poking around.
