Tourbillion Troubles

Has anyone found a half way decent way to learn this spell? I've fought the khimaira several times in Nyzul Isle and it simply refuses to use tourbillion no matter what the condition. I've also read that the khimaira may not even use it in the Assault mission either. And if that wasn't enough, the 2 Abyssea NMs don't even have access to it.

So, is there any way to reliably learn this spell that doesn't involve camping a 24+ hour HNM or finding some obscure person on the ToAU mission?

If you kill the Goblin Dice-Dongler, the Khimaira in the Assault can use Tourbillion.

Edit: And apparently even with the goblin alive, if he dongles the right number out of the dice. It's just a lower chance than many of the possible TP moves. Given this, the Assault option seems like a really solid option if you're a high enough rank.

Keep in mind that the awful things have 6-ish possible TP moves, so the odds are not in your favor. Even if you're fighting one of the right Khimaira and it's wings are in peak shape, the Random Number Generator still hates you.

khimaria wont use tourbillion if you break his wings and critical hits can break his wings. if your doing nyzul remember he has regain so you can simply back tank him till he uses it and feed him tp with spells that cant critical(most of our spells)

Here is the Tips for Assault's Khimera

1. Kill the goblin "without" engage the Khimera
2. after Kill goblin, no matter what do not engage Khimera, this Assault's Khimera will start with flag wing up but it's can break wing easily with just some critical move (I break it with club on blue) and once you break wing in this fight. It will not flag wing up again. So if you already broke it's wing just kill it. (Form my test, even I hold it til almost time up it's never wing up again.)
3 So, After defeat goblin just turn and use Bludgeon or any "Non Critical Spell" on it for provide it TP. If nothing wrong you will see it for sure, since I already learned it form this Assault.

Pretty sure it is currently not possible to learn Tourbillion from WoE conflux 4 and, ToAU mission 22 vs Khimaira 13.

Obviously for balance reasons.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't WoE zones work like Campaign? And you couldnt learn spells there either (Asuran Claws comes to mind back in the day). Unsure about the mission, I got it within a couple of runs of trying the FL assault, easy way to do it.

Unfortunately it seems that Tourbillion's Defense Down is subject to the same horrible accuracy issue as some other spells, as I outlined here:

Really, really, really hope they fix it. Floored accuracy on the part of the spell that makes it usable is kinda stupid.

Isn't it possible to learn Blu spells from Besieged? Long as your party kills the mob. Might be wrong on that.
The mission I've done it over 5x, and others have done it up to 10 times with multiple blus not learning it.
As for the assault mission, I recall it being First Lieutenant rank onry.

For those who do not have the appropriate rank, such as I, farming Zeni off of Nauls is the only way to go, or Nyzuling and getting repeated Hydras/Cerberus.
