Also think about it this way: If they were to add something like aninmus hate switching, etc, then all there mobs that have reset hates moves would be easily overcomeable. In the current state of the game, there is not much that can challenge us players. If alot of mobs didn't have hate reset, an ochain / aegis paladin could just stand there and tank effortlessly. Giving the ability to control enmity takes a tool out of SEs hands that allow them to make monsters more difficult. However, at the same time more stratedgy would be added to the game. So this idea has its ups and downs. The only other tool besides hate reset that can cause any decent devastating to an alliance of good players is AoE/conal death. All three jueno T3s have some sort of death/doom move, so that is getting old. When you think about it, the only way they can add content to challenge us would be like old AV style where it is just so broken that everyone gets devastated.
