    Gurfurlur, Mythic Quests, Besieged, and Spawn Time

    Hello, everyone. I'm really curious to know if anyone at all has any information regarding Gurfurlur and his pop time. We have now been camped in his spawn location for 119 hours. I know I posted about this on the following thread, but I really want some information now.

    Background: Sunday night at 12:30 EST, my LS finally made it to Gurfurlur's room. We know there was a besieged that morning (Circa 10 am according to one of our members who participates in every one he can), but we figure that chances are good he'll be up. I mean, who camps this guy, anyway, right?

    Anyway, when we get there, he's no where to be seen. After two hours of playing around with the normal mobs gallivanting around the area, we log, thinking we'll all be able to log on Monday night and he'll be up. After all, several Wikis list him as possibly having 21-24 hour respawn at best. The little outside research we've done suggests that it might be 3-5 days between respawns. Or that it's 1 hour after a besieged if he is present and not killed (which hasn't happened in a while now).

    So, Monday morning, my brother logs on with his characters. He dinks around skilling up weapons on his 95 WAR. He stays logged in the full time, moving around the area and clearing the mobs out quite often. By Monday night, Gurf hasn't popped and, after an uneventful night, we get some sleep. There's a spot right outside Gurf's pop area that's free of aggro from the normal mobs and close enough that a death by Gurfurlur will occur, plus the rest of us are camped right on the door which gives text when it's opened as well. No one comes in for Gurfurlur that night.

    Repeat each night until tonight. I stand about one hour from the time we arrived Sunday night. I doubt (but it is possible) that someone killed him while we were logged out Sunday night. But, even so, that would, at worst, mean that a 5 day spawn window would put him tomorrow morning around 9 AM EST once we logged in. We've had someone either constantly watching for spawn or close enough to see things in chat. Once, Tuesday I think, another group briefly shows up, but upon not seeing him up, they move on. We're wishing we had done the same, but giving the work it has taken to get here and the time we've already spent, we really don't want to deal with getting back just to kill him.

    Is this really how we have to deal with the ToAU kings now that we're level 95? When we were 75 and killing a ToAU king took work, I can see some logic behind this. But, at present, we're ready to give up on mythics entirely, especially if the other two are going to behave even remotely the same. Does anyone happen to know if the spawn window really is 3-5 days? And is it possible that the spawning conditions of these NMs be readdressed now that the kings all die in besieged a majority of the time?

    they really should fix this, Ive left a mule in the back of mamook for going on 3 weeks. parked right infront of where the NM spawns so that He'd kill me if he poped he has YET to spawn in 3 weeks from what I can see. Its geting a bit stupid.

    Yeah we have been watching for him in beseiged and in this room to see what gives and he hasn't popped in 3 days from when he was in the last beseiged. I am not sure if he was killed or not during that particular run, however, it would be nice to know more info concerning this.

    When I was hunting them for the titles for my weapon, a friend told me that they only spawn after their nations hit level 5 preparing during besieged. After that point you have until level 8 before they 'despawn' to go join their troops. If they are killed I think they don't spawn for a week until the next high level besieged. I had people in place by level 4 and they all spawned at level 5 preparing for my group. If they changed something, sorry for sounding idiotic and being unable to shed any better light.

    No worries, Geabrielle, you got some good info there.

    So for these NMs to appear, their nation must be at 150+ strength level, and not advancing or attacking. (Nice consistency there, a NM that can appear in multiple zones, but only one can exist at a time.)
    I think the NMs will reappear at their spawn an hour after besieged if their strength level remains above 150, although that probably means they won besieged without dying. If they lose it, their level drops. Not sure if casualties during besieged will affect the strength level after they win, but if it does it could drop below 150 again and not see the big NM spawn as well. Not sure what it does to the other 2 beastmen nations if one of them wins the astral candy. Been ages since I done a besieged.

    I had read about note never soluation this fix issue from post not pay attendend note.
    Why did not fixed this note because I had camp for one week no pop Gufurlur NM or no boss in besieged. Why the failed FFXI did not honestly note the thread noticed. That problem since we trying help people to recongized to NM i prefer set when besieged activited then we will know start in 21-24 hour to set NM pop in halvang area. That is poor direction who hand of failed with noticed from 2011 old post never fixed.

    Please support that issue change improve with Beastmen King Treasures of Aht Urhgan. that problem is most weak did not fixed with Gufurlur NM. The Medusa and Gulool Ja Ja NM is doing success set process. Please remove the gate door pull with 6 people if you fixed this improve then we can able recongized NM quickly. Thank you cooperation with FFXI.

    Also I want remove the 3 day if kill boss died in process 3 day not good idea better in 21-24 hour as normal because keep make fast build to happy this quests.
