I was fighting Kaggan today (around 10:45am Sydney, Australia) and it did a move (Macerationg Bile) that inflicted AoE Bio and the log says "[Player-name] is Bio". This is really bad grammar lol. Could it be changed to say "[Player-name] has been inflicted with Bio" or something of the sort?

Normally, it's "recieves the effect of Bio." As far as have seen, in most cases that's what's displayed. However, like you (@ OP) I have seen the "is Bio" text a few times. I can't recall them exactly but I've seen it more than once.

I've see it too, but couldn't remember where. I believe it was Chhir Bhatti in Abyssea - Vunkerl.
I did run across something similar against Bukhis last night. The log said "[Player name] is Dia." after the move Lithic Ray.(0)
