Cool, though not surprising as any death caused by indirect methods (DoT spells) can give pearl.

but is there any point in every equipping this spell with such low acc

The accuracy is actually minor compared to the time it takes for the doom to take effect and the MP cost. Only things the spell would really be useful for would be Dual Wield and messing around. Guess being the only job in the game that can cast doom (for now) is pretty cool.
