Conrad causing Lock up

Date: 8/30/2011

Location: Bastok Mines

NPC Name: Conrad

Last ability used: Chain Affinity

Last Item used: Warp Scroll

Steps on how lock up occurred:

Finished leveling NPC in Fey Yin
Warped to Port jeuno using a Warp Scroll
walked up to upper Jeuno.
Started the quest Blighted Gloom.
Walked out of Upper jeuno and into Batallia Downs.
Used a Fields of Valor to Repatriation to Bastok Mines.
Targeted Conrad and pressed enter.
then the Game Locked up.

In lock up i can move the camera and open the say bar.
but nothing else works. the NPC some times after a long while will
respond however most of the time i just hard reset my PS2

I would also like to note that this very same problem use to happen in Aht urhgan white gate while talking to Ugrihd back in 2008.
