All enfebling magic is useless unless you have max gear. (/welcome) to (Final) (Fantasy)
The Original Blue Mage
disgusting.
... I <3 my break. On most non-NM monsters, that aren't completely immune, it works well.
Break is very useful. I used it during the COR AF3 fight, and found out you can petrify the npcs, so it made it 100% easier for me to to finish it. As previously stated, Break has a lot of uses, and Breakga is going to add to that. You don't have to have the best gear, just decent gear that anyone can easily get.
S to the M
Uses for Break:
- As mentioned, a ghetto "sleep" for mobs that are otherwise immune to Dark-based Sleep
- Better crowd control. Sleep(ga) II a mob, cast Break(ga) a few seconds before they wake up, reapply.

Depends how long you have to hold something for. Having 2 sleepgas (~2 mins 30 in total) is enough 95% of the time but if you need longer then breakga could have it's uses.
One example with the original break was new dynamis summoner NMs. The fight would sometimes take longer than 2 mins 30 so to prevent astral flow sleep avatar > sleep 2 > break before waking > reapply sleep. Of course you could always use stun aswell as soon as it woke but this way it would rely less on quick reactions.
Break is definitely useful... Love it on my redmage. Breakaga, BLM probably gonna have to sub scholar to gain increase in enfeebs magic skill.
The beauty if Addle and Break is, many mobs don't seems to be equipped to deal with it. Like a programming error or something. Other than HNM or whatnot, which resist a lot of things anyway.
