Ahh sorry, that's what I get for posting when half-asleep. Though, if they do indeed throw our Staves together, that would make Occult Accumen II actually pretty nice, assuming we get a ranged WS to use with it (Myrkr anyone?).

When you use an AoE Weaponskill or spell, there's a limit to how many targets it can generate hate on at once. If you pull more targets than that, just using one fell cleave isn't going to guarantee that you have hate on all of them. The limit is actually fairly low if I'm remembering right, around 15 or 20 mobs.
Fell Cleave can also miss since it's physical, probably been said before.
Didn't know about the multiple mob thing tbh, can't say I've ever tried cleaving more than that many at a time. So yeah if your WAR friend had half the zone on him then it might be an issue, if not I'd say he just missed 1 or 2 mobs and they went for you.
My question has nothing to do with element staffs but trying to figure out how you guys in development team figured you'll give blm mythic staff, elemental staffs, relic staff. In the end give us no proc weapon skill for staff and no cataclysm.
I know its probably a long shot, but will BLM possibly see Ultima 1 day?
Most spells are easily bought on the AH for cheap. I like that not every spell is a hand out. Comet, quake, raise III, these are all spells that require some difficulty to acquire and by getting them you are standing out just a little more than others who dont have them yet. Think of it as an adventure and something to look forward to or accomplish.

I've heard it discussed in another forum that in FF games, if there's a mob called ultima then the spell is not in the game, and vice versa.
