    What atma's to use in solo, parties, NM and merits


    I do have atma MM for refresh
    Nothing in group 1 ATM
    In group 2 are
    flare ii 2/10
    freeze ii 2
    tornado ii 1
    quake ii 1
    burst ii 2
    flood ii 2

    For atma i use Atma of the Beyond / Atma of the Minikin Monstrosity / Atma of the Ultimate for party.
    For solo i don't know since my last solo was before abyssea XD

    Grp1: full Ice and thunder
    Grp2: Flare / Tornado / Flood / Quake @1
    Burst / Freeze @3

    Group 1 merits should be for your highest 2 spells (currently Fire and Ice). When Thunder V comes around, drop Fire for Thunder potency.

    If you aren't spending your merits on spells you will actually be casting (eg. your strongest spells), you may as well have not spent any merits at all. No merits vs gimp merits have the same result: both gimp your damage.

    I changed my merits when the 90 cap was introduced, didn't you?

    Didn't change my merits because i can't play blm in my ls they want me only on mnk XD. And since 6 month i play this game only for ls event because nothing to do in this game ;; . Ill play blm again for cap 95 lol

    I merited Thunder and Ice myself and I haven't had an issue with damage yet, cuz usually I stick to Blizz V anyway.

    Me personally, I kept Thunder and Ice full on group 1. For group 2 I full meritted Burst II and Freeze II. I haven't changed em; didn't think to. I always use Thunder and Ice spells the most anyways.

    with Beyond, the 2 strongest spells are actually Bliz V and Freeze 2. Any Fire based mob will resist fire and ice, so if you're going to drop thunder merits for anything, it should be for wind perhaps. I personally left thunder and ice and just use Burst 2 when I can't use Ice.
