Is it possible in a future update to add the magic accuracy and magic attack values for my character? Maybe magic defense too.

Magic {Attack, Defense, Accuracy, Evasion}
yes please.
And please remove the requirement to type '/checkparam <me>' while at it .
This has already been discussed in an older thread, but the short of it is that the calculations for magic are complex, since it takes into account your skill in each individual magic category as well as your overall macc and mab: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/th...ght=checkparam
You can always just highlight yourself and type "/checkparam" if adding in the <me> bothers you, but the reason it's a targeted command is so that people can check the stats of their pets as well.

Magic accuracy depends on a player attribute monster attribute comparison, the comparison is different for each spell. What we really need is some kind of libra like spell or job ability to display monster stats.
Having Checkparam spit out a total for at least what gear you have equipped for MACC and MAB would still be cool regardless of individual skill. Then the player base can at least have something to work with. I agree it's complex though as, for example, everything changes for a GEO based on mere relative position.
Might be splitting hairs somewhat but in a sense macc doesn't necessarily depend on mob or at least doesn't have to be considered. Instead the mob stats could be looked at their meva to certain things. Like how we look at dex boosting our acc and agi boosting evasion and both can look at int (or other stat) the same as boosting macc of the casting and meva of the target which would allow macc and for that matter meva to still be displayed. Different spells/elements are the same thing it's not so much your macc is changing as the mob has extra meva to certain elements/debuffs similar to barspells. So you could still show macc (though it would pretty screen intensive trying to do it for each magic type) it just wouldn't be as useful (though still somewhat useful) as acc is to players since for physical stuff mobs only have 1 evasion. Of course with something like that testing things like how much meva a mob has to a certain element would be easier so then things could become very useful....
Greetings, everyone.
We’ve been receiving requests for this for quite some time now, but unfortunately it is not possible to add to the /checkparam feature.
The main reason why it is not possible is due to the fact that the values change significantly depending on the type of magic as well as your target. Additionally, the /checkparam system was built to display only your current properties.
There have also been requests to only show the total values based on equipment and skill, but without showing the bonuses from job traits, elemental affinities, and enhancing magic spells, it’s not data that can be used as reference for actual battles. Due to this, we do not have any plans to add this to the display.

It would be handy however to get a total value for pure magic accuracy (split into subtypes) and pure magic attack, with magic damage, magic accuracy skill, and job traits and job abilities factored in. The devs are thinking about this too hard - we just want m.acc (actually split out into elemental, dark, enfeebling, divine, string, wind, song, ninjitsu), and m.atk values just like we have acc and atk values - and yes those reference values would be helpful in setting minimum bars to achieve for returning and existing players to attack certain content levels or NMs.
Dont worry about elemental affinity or enhancing magic spells or magic types - we can deal with that ourselves.
