Upon further experimentation...

If you trade gil to Dragatama (I tried 1000 gil each time), you will get a buff. (Protection, Enthunder, etc).

Since it is coming up on the Year of the Dragon, I thought it clever that there is a parade of various NM dragons tramping around Xarcabard.

But doesn't Bahamut's Zaghnal, Kraken Scythe, Mercurial Kris (etc etc) all suffer from the same problem that they will not proc with Double Attack or Triple Attack?
