Announcing the July Version Update

It’s summer time for those of us here in the northern hemisphere—have those of you with us north of the equator made any plans?
I’m going to spend some time here in Vana’diel seeing the sights and maybe do a little bit of farming along the way. I’m a bit too old these days for a romp on the beach, so I’m just going to take things at my own pace.

Without further ado, let’s dive right in to July! First up on the list is the addition of Wave 3 to Dynamis-Divergence! The foes here are stronger than those you’ve faced in previous incarnations of Divergence, and the bosses themselves might cause a little bit of surprise, too. Of course, what good are tougher challenges without better rewards, so we’ve added some new synthesis materials for you to get your hands on! These materials can be synthesized by high level crafters in possession of the appropriate aurum tome, so find someone who can make the weapon you want with the spoils you’ve won from Dynamis-Divergence!

For Ambuscade, one of the most time-honored summer traditions is taking a dip in the water to cool yourself off, so we’ve chosen to have you battle against aquans this month—specifically, craklaws. Of course, even the toughest-shelled crab can become a tasty dish when prepared properly, so I hope you can figure out the gimmick and serve up a helping of punishment!

As you can see, this month has battle content both for those who want to test their limits and those who prefer a more calm-minded affair. Which of these Vana’diels will you want to experience this July?
