3. Check the Backfilled Pit at (F-8). Cutscene: Yes
4. Check the Compact Footprint at (H-8). Cutscene: Yes
5. Check the Sunken Footprint at (H-6/7). Cutscene: Yes
6 Check the Compact Footprint again at (H-8). Cutscene: Yes
7. Zone in Batallia Downs[S] from Beaucedine Glacier[S]. Cutscene: Yes
8. Check the Fresh Snowmelt near the Cavernous Maw at (H-5). Cutscene: Yes
9. Touch the Fresh Snowmelt again to begin the battle againts the humanoud Menechme: Unable to pop it.
It keeps saying: It seems that you will have to wait a bit longer...

I've waited multiple game days, no result.
I've tried zoning in and out, logging out and in, and retracing every step of the quest.
Other users are experiencing the same problem.

Being stuck on this quest is also preventing me from progressing in Wings of the Goddess and Rhapsodies of Vanadiel.

I was with him and already file a GM call for the issue since i notice that on forum this problem was presented before and no real fix has been done since 2013, i do hope this problem gets resolve soon.

The Community Rep's post isn't very helpful. It doesn't say anything about it being a known issue or that anyone is working to resolve it or a timetable for a response. Searching through google I've found two tickets that were submitted in 2013, but never any response to those other than the initial acknowledgement of their posting. Requesting a GM help in game did no good either, they just pointed me here.

Its made a little extra frustrating because not being able to progress where I'm at in WoTG means I'm also stuck cold where I'm at in RoV, because Lillisette isn't available.

Same boat here, can't progress in WotG because NM won't spawn and stuck in RoV as well becasue of it. Even did all quests from past present and future involving any npc involved with the WotG quest so its not a quest holding it up.

This may not fix the problem with being stuck on this particular quest, but you guys could always complete Windurst's or Bastok's questlines in the past to progress through WotG while you wait for them to fix this bug.

Contrary to (apparently) popular belief you don't have to switch nations in the past to start their quests, so if your main objective is to finish WotG and proceed through RoV that might be another option until they get around to fixing this.

Aye, I've considered that, and will certainly go down that road if it isn't fixed in a few days. Just hoping for the easy way out.


UPDATE: This was resolved this morning with the server restart. I was just able to complete the quest.
