Maiden of the Dusk - High-Tier Battlefield

I’d like to provide a hint regarding the equipment drops from the Maiden of the Dusk high-tier battlefield.

Unlike previously implemented high-tier battlefields, such as July’s Champion of the Dawn, the base drop rate of equipment from this high-tier battlefield has been set higher regardless of the difficulty.
However, as there are various equipment available from the loot, it may feel difficult to obtain the specific equipment you are looking for.

We’ve received feedback discussing this matter, and wanted to inform everyone that there’s actually a way to increase the number of drop slots by fulfilling a certain condition!

There is a mechanic in the Normal difficulty and above that unlocks an additional slot for drops when you fulfill a certain condition. While this doesn’t necessarily guarantee a piece of equipment each time, it does increase the chance for equipment to drop.

Furthermore, challenging the battlefield on the Very Difficult setting has a chance to reward the maximum number of drops. If you feel confident enough to take on the higher difficulties, you’ll have a higher chance of obtaining more equipment there!

Though I can’t go as far as to name the specific mechanic, by this point you may have figured out which mechanic it is. The condition you need to fulfill should also be fairly straightforward.

I appreciate the AV reference, but I'm almost 40 years old. After 20 years of playing this game, can you please be more specific? :(

(For example, does Very Difficult render this hint useless? Or is it an additional increase in drop-slots with respect to this hint?).

If it's not Astral Flow/Overdrive, nobody's ever going to figure out the mystery mechanic.

Why was Lillith granted an additional mechanic to improve loot, but Shinryu wasnt? They have nearly the same amount of drops. Shinryu has no Queue via a conflux, Shinryu costs 30 merits instead of 10 (which is horrible also because merit cap is 75 so its awkward), Shinryus drop rate is widely reported by the community to be worse than lillith (EVEN on VD).

Can this Please get addressed?

Blame the other players on your server for storming the internet and whining about there not being a queue, resulting in the entry cost inflating greatly and the droprate not being increased significantly.

While I agree that other players shouldn't have jumped the gun, how about we raise our voices about the issues rather than placing blame. SE can easily revert or fix the problems if we're loud enough.

lack of queue is a problem, only reason 30 merits have alleviated it a bit is because people don't wanna do 2x shin for no drops then have to get merits again so they just stopped doing it altogether.

Creating content that's so bad people just quit trying not because it's so hard but because it's too much trouble for what it's worth. 0.2% or less drop rate? That just didn't fly and SE needs to do something to fix the fight in a way that doesn't just cause players to abandon it.

Like re-introducing the old shinryu's proc system, with each proc adding an additional slot, each added slot given an order of magnitude greater chance to drop the rare items.
1st extra slot: 2% each
2nd extra slot: 10% each
3rd extra slot: 20% each (normally common drops can't appear in this slot)
