throwing weaponskill

I know in the past it has been brought up where people have asked for a weapon skill for throwing out even just shurikens. No plans were made and so I am asking again. Ranged damage for ninja is very minimal, and I have the Titan and AAGK ranged and they are OK, but not great. Plus, what is point of keeping hate when ninja cannot tank high tier mobs, where it's all about the paladin and rune fencer? Could we get something? Even just one weapon skill, that requires like 500 skill before it can be used? Or even just a single standard, and could be used by ninja, thief, dancer, and *gasp* blue mage? I don't see why it is out of the question as marksmanship and ranged as be a myriad of weapon skills, so why throwing not have one?
