Returning after 8ish months :s

Ive been looking for an event shell to run things with vagary,UNM,EschaZ/Ru/Rei etc. my first problem is that the social shells spam the NPC's with shells and ignore the tags on the NPC's then after picking one i find out they don't do events, so i tried shouting and promptly got told that if i was not Master on a class no event shell will want me. SO then i started building JP partys to farm and get told off again because i should just wait for the "event" that gives double/triple JP. honestly starting to feel a little defeated. ;-;

I have 99 everything but MNK,SMN,RUN,PUP nothing mastered but fairly good gear for every job.
