Getting back into the game with some friends

Just getting back into the game with a few friends of mine. Played a lot back about 7 years ago, then started up again about a year ago and stopped. Looking to try for the 3rd time now with a few friends I recruited.

I have been trying to find the server with the most players, as I checked Leviathan today (5/1/13) and there were about 1000. I am use to 10 times that amount back when I use to play. Any suggestions? Should I stay on Leviathan?

We will be training the new people I am bringing in, so if anyone has any Linkshells that are not strictly end game, let me know. They will be starting fresh, no subjob, rank 1 stuff. So we need other players that would be willing to do stuff at that end more.
