Manawall working as intended?

Are the Umbrils supposed to be able to bypass Manawall, or is this a glitch?

Steps:
1. Put up Manawall
2. Get hit by Umbril for HP damage instead of MP damage
3. Die

Working fine for me. Sure you didn't hit manawell instead of mana wall?

I'm not sure... I didn't think so at the time, but knowing me, there's a very high probability...
