Geocolure free target system needs updating

In the August Update we received the ability to freely target the area of effect of Geocolure spells. However, it is currently very difficult to use. Whenever the caster changes gear that "blinks" the character model to update, the target circle goes away.

"/lockstyle" allows you to use this feature if you aren't changing weapons. However, as a mage, weapon swapping happens very frequently for most players. Could this system be looked into improving it to work with changing weapons?
