Post Lv65 Sambas

I would really really like something along the lines of Haste samba 2. It doesn't improve much in high buff situations since you'll be capped on delay but it would help in low buff a lot. It would help the party too! ^^ Not to mention that we don't get any sambas post Lv65 and we are now iLevel 119!

Haste Samba is already fairly potent as it is, especially with Merit Points and the Job Points to make it more effective and last longer.

What I would like to see is a more potent Drain Samba, or perhaps even a Samba that acts like Steps, inflicting a small Defense or M.Def down effect, or some such.

Or a flourish that can use a Dispel effect, because that would be handy.

How about Slow Samba? Applies a 10% slow effect to the target, no resist?

I'd say the step line would be more appropriate for that one, that said, I do not disagree.

Doesn't Haste Samba already work similar to a slowing effect? Aren't you stealing the attack speed from the mob that you hit? I understand when it's a dancer alone the effect is probably not that great, but dancer was a party support back in the day when they created these effects.

No. Sambas have no detrimental effect on the target. Even Drain Samba and Aspir Samba don't actually drain or aspir from the target; it's just "free" hp/mp.
