Well was getting the 5024 error, now getting this,not sure what the difference is, oh well guess I can look forward to an hour long hold when calling up SE tomorrow :(

My other account (seperate CC) is getting this issue when I try to update my CC info as well.

I've been on the phone with SE and my CC company all day today trying to fix this same error code. One SE techy guy said, "This is a rare code, but I've gotten 3 calls so far in a row today with it." Last techy guy I spoke with said "I don't know why the other guy would say that, cause it's a common error code."
They again tried to tell me it was my CC company that was saying my card was invalid, but I find that funny as I can use it everywhere else BUT for this game. My CC company even went as far as to contact MasterCard directly to find that SE was just simply declining my card.
The last also told me, "Just wait til about Thursday and if it doesn't go through by then, give us a call back. Problem so far is so many people are putting in their CC info, that it's bogging down the system."
Wait.. I gotta wait til Thursday? I'm on the phone with you, enter my card information and let me go on my way. Is that hard? I know it's not because I have friends that have had their card entered in BY a techy person. It's totally doable.
So the UCS-60257 code, just means, "You're screwed! I hope in the time you have to wait for us to accept your card, you find a different game to play and stop playing FFXI! Have a nice day!"

Wow, still nothing. I'm now getting a 3D-Secure error too. Note that 3D-Secure is the program declining my card. Maybe if SE got in touch with that company to fix the software, things might be better. But as of now, 3D-Secure (the VeriSign company they're contracted with) is the one saying "Nope, you can't play!"

Also having the issue here, wanting to reactivate account... all was going well until I needed to update my payment info, now this is happening.

I should also state, been trying to get this to work every 30 minutes over the past 3 days... god this company is dumb.

Well just so you guys know, I've been on the phone with... SE, my bank AND my ISP. Here's what I've gotten so far...
SE says, they pinged my IP address and have zero connection to my computer. I only got this far after moving my computer, bypassing the router and trying to get it to go thru. Also had someone else, in an entirely different state, enter the info for me, same error code. This is an ISP problem, says SE, and to contact them.
My ISP, reset my modem and checked everything, my connection is fine.
My bank says, my card IS valid and should have zero issues using said card.
SE then said, if I cannot get my credit card information into the system using PoL, I won't be able to play the game. It is against their policy to enter the card in formation FOR me, so basically, (as I said to the SE Tech) "I'm f*cked" and will not be able to play again.

At this point of the games life, SE really seems to want to make this mmo fall apart to don't they.

Yeah, but it was all fine til they messed up last weeks billing cycle. I did ask what the difference was between changing the info in Feb to doing it now. That's when he said, "Oh yeah something in your ISP must have changed!" Sure, ok whatever, let me call them too.
What's funny is I've asked them numerous times in all my calls to them to just put in my card info. As a friend just stated... I'm forcing my money at them, and they just don't want to take it.
Whatever. Doesn't seem I can do anything about it.
